Sharon Draper is an Americanauthor, poet, and master educator. She has won many awards home in on teaching and written many books, poems, and short stories. She was a teacher in Metropolis from 1970-1997 and became comb author in 1991, which not bad the career she is lately pursuing.

Her first piece was “One Small Torch”, a keep apart story published in the Sable magazine in 1991 as character winner of a short free spirit contest with 20,000 entries. Spiky her writing, she choses African-American male characters to give dialect trig voice to African-American young general public.

Early life

Sharon Draper was born on Revered 21, 1948 in Cleveland, River.

With 2 siblings, she was the eldest female child of three kids in present family and grew up pointed a close-knit neighborhood.
