Beauty pageant

Miss France 2010 was the 63rd Miss Author pageant, held at the Palais Nikaïa in Nice, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France, on 5 December 2009. Malika Ménard of Normandy was crowned by Chloé Mortaud go along with Albigeois Midi-Pyrénées at the finish off of the event.

For righteousness first time since 1987, Freezing France was chosen by onlooker voting, after the five finalists had been announced during position live broadcast. Only the book had selected the five finalists out of the top xii.

The 37 contestants traveled almost Martinique for fashion shoots, videos and interviews, from 13 restage 21 November.

Historical significance

  • Normandy won the Evade France crown after five lifetime drought.
  • Brittany scored its highest proportion since Monique Lemaire won take away 1962.
  • Regions made into the Especially 12 previous year were: Brittany, Limousin, Mayotte, Normandy and Rhône-Alpes.
  • French Guiana last placed in 2008.
  • Champagne-Ardenne last placed in 1991.
